Obama Fatigue

President Elect Obama wants to be a man of the people. "No drama Obama" wants to shoot straight and run a transparent government, keeping us informed every step of the way.

I'm already getting tired of being updated. And I am more interested than many.

A YouTube.com search of "Obama" yields over 345,000 videos with 1,827 of those linked directly to the BarakObamadotCom channel.

I don't need 1,827 videos of swimsuit models let alone the president elect. YouTube only shows 12 results for that by the way, 345,000 for Obama, 12 for swimsuit model. There is something wrong here.

My question is? Can we get desensitized to our new President Elect to the point that it we won't slow down our channel scrolling when we see him on the television?

Can we get Obama-ed out? Obama overloaded? Or OB (Over Barak-ed) on the whole mess?

I like to be informed but I catch myself tuning out because I assume his prepackaged videos and press conferences are, of course, only showing the glowing sword of Democracy that is the coming Obama administration's good side. I need the press. I need the tough questions being asked, not by Geraldo, but the guy who wants to be the next Geraldo, the guy at the back of the room that refuses to follow today's talking points and asks the questions that seem ridiculous at the time but when fleshed out become the questions we need answered that won't be preproduced and posted conveniently on YouTube for us.

I appreciate what he's telling us. But I want to know what he's not.
